Kitchen Reveal

After being inspired by many bloggers' beautiful homes, I finally took the time to decorate my own and I started with the kitchen. We've lived in our house for about 4 years and I haven't decorated it because I just didn't know which route to take. What I'm really excited about is being able to incorporate some of the art pieces my 12 year old son made. He went to an art camp last summer and made some beautiful ceramic pieces and they have just been stored at home because I didn't know what to do with them. While we were shopping at Pier 1, I found some decorative plates I wanted display and my son said, "I made a plate like that".  I was so excited because to be honest, I had forgotten about them. When we got home, I took every piece he made and found a new home for each one!

We have a very large island in our kitchen so there was plenty of space for decor. You can find most of these items at  Pier 1
