I love Barre because I finally found an exercise where it's ok to be a total girly girl! I know that sounds crazy but I'm prissy from the word go! I run like a girl! I throw like a girl! Now, I can plie and point my toes while working out! Totally me!
But seriously this is one hard workout! Many of the moves are based on classic ballet positions and was developed by a ballerina. It's full body conditioning and it's challenging! Barre focuses on isometric movements utilizing a ballet barre. I also love how there are some yoga moves mixed into our classes. It's a tough workout but very addicting and I look forward to working out which is half the battle - getting to the gym in the first place.
