I can't believe the year is already over! 2017 was full of amazing memories which were mostly captured in all the trips we took. I didn't even realize how much we traveled this year! Most of it were tag alongs on my husband's business trips but were fun nonetheless!
We started 2017 in Las Vegas where we rang in the new year! So much fun watching the fireworks across the Las Vegas skyline!
For a Vegas NYE, I paired this sparkly top with black leggings and heels. It was chilly so I wore my Fifi Blush Bolero.
Every Spring, we go to the Natural Product Expo in Anaheim. It usually coincides with our kids' spring break so this time, we brought them along. We had a great time at Disneyland and it was my youngest son's first visit there. From Anaheim, we headed to Huntington Beach. It was still very cold but the beach is always a favorite place!
During the summer, we headed back to California for the E3 show. This time we went to Los Angeles. This show was something my kids had been looking forward to for a long time. It was a trade show showcasing all the new video games that were going to debut the next year. Every little boys' dream! While in LA, of course we took in all the sights of LA including Venice, the Hollywood sign, Rodeo Drive, the Ivy and all the exciting spots most tourist go to!
My favorite trip this year was our trip to Kentucky. We were able to see our friends' hometown and everything they love about Kentucky. My son even wants to go to UK now after visiting the campus. Kentucky is known for horses and bourbon and we saw and drank plenty! It's such a beautiful part of the country that I had never seen before.
Had to stop and get some Graeter's ice cream!
I met my husband for the Natural Expo East show in Baltimore. It takes place in September close to our anniversary so we made it an anniversary trip too. I love to stroll the harbor in Baltimore. There are so many restaurants and shops and the boats are so pretty.
We also took a road trip to Washington DC and stayed at The Hay-Adams. We had the most beautiful view of the White House. Unfortunately we didn't plan ahead so we weren't able to take a tour of the White House but we did go to the Capitol.
Our last trip of the year was Thanksgiving week. We spent a week in Orlando with our friends. We had a great time at Universal Studios and spent a day at Animal Kingdom with our cousins who live in Orlando.
I hope your year was full of fun memories! I am grateful for each and every one of you who have been following along on my blogging journey! I look forward to continue sharing more content with you in the coming years. I hope you have a wonderful new year! Cheers to 2018!!
